  • What is the future of DSL…

According to new statistics published by TeleChoice, Inc., the US had 2.9 million DSL lines in service at the end of the first quarter of 2001.

Chicago-based CLEC research firm New Paradigm Resources Group predicts that by the end of this year, more than 5 million DSL lines will be in service in the US.

A study by San Jose, Calif.-based market-research and consulting firm Infonetics Research predicted that worldwide revenue for DSL and cable-broadband customer-premises equipment - which the study put at $1.5 billion in the first quarter - would total $6.5 billion in 2001.
